I didn't mean to put emphasis on it being during the game, if that's how it came across. I don't care when it was. It was just to highlight that he really wants the Inter move and isn't coy about it.

I figured so too Ricks. We all can see Balogun has serious potential and Nketiah does not, and Arteta is not stupid. And he often banish people who he deemed attitude problem
It has always been attitude over talent for Arteta.
Inter wouldn't even be in for him if he didn't want the transfer. It's not like clubs don't talk to players (i.e. Rice).
QuincyAbeyie which is why West Ham fans hate him isn't it. But you're right it's standard.
We should sell to Monaco in exchange for first option for their young stars + a buy back clause
West Ham must go in for him. It's clear as day
A lot of people on twitter are saying we turned down a move from Real Sociedad for Tierney.
[Ojgo & SkySportsDe] Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg interested in Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares. Tavares, who Arsenal value around £13m, is attracting interest from clubs in England and Italy, as well as the from the two Bundesliga clubs
I forgot he play for us. I think his physical attributes + the time and the space he would get in Germany would make a smart move for him.
His first game will be against us?
Goodbye dawg. Take that spot off Schmeichel, who they seem to be looking to bring in.
Thought Cedric’s transfer would have been sealed by now
They're also still linked to Dean Henderson...hope the move works out for him (except when he's playing against us).
KingslandBarge Thought Cedric’s transfer would have been sealed by now
No one is taking him until they'll really desperate on deadline day.
At those wages, don't think anyone is that desperate unfortunately.
Qwiss I thought it looked close with Villareal but yeah thats a shout
Sounds like Monaco will give us decent money for Balogun.
Get that deal done then we’ll move for our new attacking toy
inter closing in on mehdi terami for 23m, Iranian striker at Porto. if that happens they're out of the balogun race
lorddulaarsenal Kane.

Disagree with this. Which talented player who fits our style of football has Arteta chased away? There’s simply no evidence of this. He has a clear football vision and is removing players who typically aren’t good enough or don’t have the right style
So a few weeks left and still we should be moving on from Tavares, Pepe, Cedric, Balogun, and (to a lesser degree) Tierney?
That's a lot to ship out....Edu has really only impressed with selling Xhaka, and if he can't get something for Balogun or Tierney he'll not have done well on exits.
Clrnc It has always been attitude over talent for Arteta.
Attitude is a talent. As for Balogun, he's being sold because he insists on starting and he won't start at Arsenal in 23–24. He's not coming in ahead of Martinelli, Trossard, Jesus, etc. And nor should he. And unlike Nketiah, Balogun won't tolerate that. And nor should he. We might not be comfortable with it yet, but being a top club means selling bright talents, so let Balogun go and all's right with the world.
MistaT We should hit £100m from outgoings, and if we don't it's a pretty poor effort.
Burnwinter And nor should he.
Meh. He's half the player Alvarez is and he's playing second fiddle to Haaland. I think if Balogun had a bit more sense he'd have aimed at Eddies spot this season rather than Jesus, if he was good enough then he'd have usurped Jesus. A lot easier to do than get past Haaland for instance. Instead he wants a guarantee that was never going to be given. Kids seems like a total dope TBH. So far his ego exceeds his talent.
the balogun transfer might also be the first time i can remember us rejecting a big offer for a player because we know we can get more. typically we seem to sell for whatever peanuts clubs toss to us, so this is hopefully a sign of better selling going forward.
