The previous two summers we had signed prime Ozil and Alexis, and we were no longer hamstrung financially.

We should have continued with our mini Galacticos era and bought another star in 2015. I remember we were strongly linked with Benzema but we just needed someone far more reliable/better than Giroud at the time and we may well have won the league that season.

Absolute bargain as well, got lucky as we have managed to get a player on the cheap from Brighton lol.

He’s slotted in and looks like he has been with the team for a while, link play is so good. Real intelligent player on the pitch.

Yeah... Going to be interesting to see how Arteta manages this. Getting to a stage for the first in the season where to team doesn't necessarily pick itself.. Will he attempt to fit all of Jesus, Trossard and Martinelli in the same team or just rotate or something more radical like dropping Xhaka.

Great time to have this problem getting into the business end of the season.. Would be even better in ESR or Nelson could really step up.

That's a ridiculously good performance. Honestly, I think it's one of the very best performances by an Arsenal player in years. Could(Should?) have been 4 assists and a goal.

Forward line Santi Cazorla. Even wears his number. What a signing this has turned out to be!

The TIFO guys seem to be really milking us having a great season. I'm sure there are hordes of Arsenal fans thirsty for this type of content and they're not shy of putting it up.

Love his desire to make something happen. His dribbling is top class and he passes and shoots so well with both his feet. Reminds me of Arshavin.

Segway I was just thinking about the Arshavin comparison. Similar-ish impact too in a January transfer.

Always fancied he’d be a good fit within our side, but not sure I expected such a huge impact so early on.

Must be great for the youngsters to see a guy like Trossard arrive, seem to level up overnight (alright he was good, but he's been revelatory) and immediately lighten the load a little.

The mood around our squad at the moment is powerful, ultra positive and football obsessed. To be fair to Mudryk, I see him likely playing twice as well right now if he was in the mix with us.
