goon Lokonga was definitely not the only player performing badly in that game. The CBs (Saliba?) was turned inside out. They're a niche team that only seems to perform when they're given tons of space to run in behind, and unfortunately that's us if the defenders aren't at the top of their game (which they usually are).

Rashford somehow always finds a way to score against us and given his form of late, can't see past him scoring. Eriksen has unfortunately also been brilliant (perhaps more so even than he was for Sp*rs).

Bernard Woolley not really mate. I can't remember if he scored against us in September for them but I know prior to that game his only two goals against us came on his debut like 7/8 years ago.

You are probably right. He had 2 goals and an assist earlier this season, so that perhaps haunts my memory. I also seem to remember him scoring in some FA Cup game against us a couple of years ago before his form went down the toilet over the last 2 years.

Qwiss even if we are not up 3-0, just the amount of work that our forwards invest means they’ll enjoy the rest and the United defenders will be cursing their luck to see 2 fresh top players coming on. This is the way to devastate defenses

At the end of the NLD game, the Spurs defense was completely ragged. But so were our strikers, with Nketiah making lazy tackles. We left 2 goals there because we didn’t have subs

Expect a tough game. Hopefully, loss of Casemiro has same effect as loss of Partey. United have been a top 2-3 team for the last 9 games. They went from being terrible to being excellent. The underlying data is that of a strong team, not an Emery style fluke.
Progress quickly with very little dribbling and turnovers. Press well. This is what we need to set up for, so the wall of Zinchenko, Partey, White will really have to manage transitions

Claudius I see it as like a new manager bounce. When a manager goes theres a sense of relief and the players loosen up and play better. They have that from losing the overbearing Ronaldo. It wont last long enough for them to compete but it'll probably get them top 4.
