Saka the first player since Freddie and Thierry to score in 3 consecutive games against United. Legendario
What a transformation... The way we put the pressure on...the pace at which we won the ball and moved it back into attacking near their area, I am in tears. This is incredible. I can't believe it. Need to have more beer now.
I can now fully indulge in the amusement of United helpless against the spare man roaming midfield[everywhere] in Zinchenko. Shaw's going to need a walking cane for a few days after his assignment.
Xcdude24 we were far from poor mate. Absolutely dominated them. 3-2 flattered them really.
goon Sign of a big team is capitalising obviously those moments late on, and we seem more capable of doing than we have done any time since the Wenger glory years. Exhausting match but incredible to be at 50 points...
The spirit, determination and focus from this squad (most of whom have never won a league title) is unbelievable and a credit to what Arteta has been trying to do with the culture shift at the club.
Xcdude24 Except I don't think it was a bad performance. We had a few bad moments but overall were the much stronger side.
won this despite some poor performances. Mark of champs.
banduan I watched the first half of City earlier and they were mediocre then bang goal from no where and I thought "fuck this is what we're up against" but we have it too.
Bein Sports so fixated on the winner saying Zinchenko is offside. Fuck off you wankers.
zinny and saka were superb today, and trossard looked like he'll prove to be an extremely timely signing
the boys have the look of a team that can will themselves over the line in games, even when they're not playing that well
arsedocmd Eddie's to lose. He scores and his game is quietly developing nicely.
arsedocmd Controversial take, I know but something I was thinking watching the match was that for everything Jesus has brought to this squad, I think we've shown we don't need him as much as people thought.
Don Pacifico the system. It works. What Jesus will get you is a few more turnovers - the opposing defenders will have even less time on the ball, and that dribbling ability in tight spaces, but besides that almost any hard-working striker will find chances. We are relentless with the pressure and control and that eventually just squeezes the life out of most defences.
And we never picked up any yellow card bans. Awesome all round
United were diving, time wasting, getting away with fouls, got really lucky with goals and we still beat them.
No suspensions for the Everton game, either.
Disciplined, committed, professional, tactically on point, well-coached, and outrageously talented...
Fair play, Mikel. Fair play.
Bukayo Saka is ridiculous, but so, so, so pleased for Eddie Nketiah - who is proving week after week that he is more than capable of leading our line. Brilliant second half performance, shades of the Liverpool match earlier this season for me - that winner was late, but it had been coming.
Superb in those last 20-25 mins. United had to change their setup because how good Saka was, and it just allowed us to pin them back.
I don’t think I can take this you know, my head feels like a bag of pound coins.
WE'VE GOT SUPER MIK ARTETAAAA HE'S GOT EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED
I can't get over how fit our players are and how much relentless energy they have to keep pressure on all our opponents for 90 minutes.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert I think we can only really judge that come April/May. Only halfway through the season.
HomeSteak He gets a bit nervous when attempting to leave the ball for the keeper, but that apart I thought he was rock again. So happy for him! The best defender in the league based on games I watch
HomeSteak was that in response to anything specific?
