goon 7 for Zinchenko is well harsh. I know he had one big iffy moment but he was sensational in the first half and still a source of calm in the second.
It's like that chat we had about Zinchenko the other day, where I was frustrated with his vulnerability while you pointed out he was responsible for half our progression.
The nature of the guy's role is basically that he's both a linchpin in midfield at the same time as sacrificing a lot defensively. Our left side's like fine bone china, elegant and made for creative expression, but fragile.
If we accept that he deserves credit for taking on such a complex job week to week with a lot of maturity and class, then so long as he's focused, I will rate him very highly. My only concern today is he did seem to slip mentally in the last half hour. A victim of the standard he sets perhaps, but we need him not to do that.
