Trying not to think about it too much right now, but this Arsenal team should - all things being equal - beat that Spurs team.

All things being equal, which they probably won't be.

At least, this season, we know that whatever happens on Sunday, our season is unlikely to be defined by this game. This is a luxury we did not have last time at the shithole.

After the disappointment against Newcastle we need to bounce back, spurs will be hell bent on beating us and turning their season around. Massive test for us and the atmosphere will be very hostile.

Just done my weekend predictions. I came to our game and, rather impulsively, gone for a 3-1 win. I have no idea why. I don't think it will be 3-1 and, frankly, if you offered me a point now, I would take it.

And yet, there is this inherent shittiness about Spurs this season that makes me believe that this year, this weekend is going to be ours.

The style that Antonio Conte has them playing feels incredibly fragile and is asking for them to get footballed. They have less of the dangerous possession, they have less of the total shots, they play a pretty dreadful style.

They do limit dangerous shots (not a surprise when they often have 9 to 10 men behind the ball) …

But then of course:

I'm shitting bricks. Just has a feeling of a game where something will go wrong, controversially so. But then again, its just PTSD from last year (and all those rubbish penalties they've gotten in the last few years)

They're going to try and exploit the ill discipline narrative tomorrow aren't they. Vile club but I am really hopeful its going to be a spanking. Its been assuring for me to see we are a team that starts well and wasn't wholly due to Jesus.

This is fucking huge now. Apart from the obvious, if we beat Spurs tomorrow, they'll play City twice in quick succession needing to get some kind of results to stay in the hunt for 4th.
