QuincyAbeyie I agree the Glazers need to take some of the blame for who they had running the club but that doesn't mean they are directly responsible for every bad transfer. Likewise I don't give them credit for all the success they had under Gill/Ferguson. Like the Kroenke's they are very hands off and leave it to the people running the club. Woodward did great for them from a commercial point of view but clearly the transfer strategy was very poor.
They made the money available but clearly it wasn't spent well. The main argument for Utd fans is they haven't invested but I don't see why they need to put personal money in when the club generates so much and that money has been reinvested into the squad. That money alone is more than enough for them to compete.
One thing you could knock them for is not investing in the stadium, Old Trafford has not been in the best condition since they took over and it has only got worse. They did expand the stadium but I can't remember if that took place when the Glazers were in charge.
goon Exactly, I think they spent nearly £100m more than us in the summer. They're problems are down to bad management not lack of money.
