More recently, March and April have usually been the devastating months. But going into April this season, we'll know if we won the League Cup and, barring disaster, we'll be heading into an FA Cup quarter-final having beaten Mansfield Town.
We'll also have played two legs against one of the play-off winners in the Champions League, which we can hope will have taken us to the quarter-finals.
If we somehow get over City at Wembley, and results go in the expected direction in the FA Cup and Europe, and we're still pushing things along in the league, this quadruple chat will be deafening.
I can't see us managing it across four competitions. Even beating City to the League Cup is a huge obstacle. But if we're still even thinking about a quadruple deeper into April, it'll be madness.
