Sicario2 I must have repressed this as I had no recollection of it. I had to google and saw that we beat Chelsea in a 2 leg semi then to reach the final.

Having refreshed my memory I now remember it as the game Aguero scored against us from a bloody goal kick.

That was probably the final nail in the coffin for Wenger and fast forward two months later on April 20th (I remember this date specifically as the Swedish DJ Avici died on the same day) he said he would be leaving at the end of the season.

FantasticMrFox another good draw indeed. They will be a bit tougher than Wigan as they sit mid-table in League 1 but any League 1 draw in round 5 you can’t complain too much. Another in which we can play the B-team.

Yeah, I'd take the cups and rotate the squad in the league to emphasise Champions League for the remainder of the season, still aiming for top four though.

It would be wonderful to win the league, but I'd take the chance of something between a domestic cup double, and a historic cup treble featuring our first European championship.

a guaranteed domestic cup double isn't worth that much to me. i'd have to roll the dice on the league (in truth that's the 2nd easiest trophy for us to win this year. we just have to not throw it away). if you changed domestic cup double to champions league then we're talking. i'd take CL over the premier league every single time.
