Think you're probably right - Feb will start to get tougher in terms of fixture congestion. Only shame is that it's straight after having played Spurs and United. Need to start getting more out of the fringe players otherwise we're going to be fucked come April I reckon.

Potter is doomed, I think. I still like the guy, but his interview from a few days ago citing the time given to other managers was feeble.

The whole legend of Potter is that he's meant to be upbeat and psychologically bulletproof himself, and have the ability to bamboozle players into working his way with behavioural nudges.

Burnwinter all the betterm Hopefully they sack him soon before he manages to turn things around. So far it doesn't look like he's even got the freedom to try and play the type of football he wants.

Dunno what's going on behind the scenes but I very much doubt this is the type of football he wants to play and I find it hard to believe he could get a bunch of scrubs playing intricate attacking possession football with Brighton but can't with Chelsea.

Potter definitely has a bit of arrogance about him. Remember him telling Brighton fans to get a reality check? Just this week he told journalists they ask stupid questions. I don't think his personality is the issue.

They've just got a mess of a squad and have spent insane amounts of money really poorly. Going by their January activity it looks like they still have no clue and I'm not sure the managers, whether it's Tuchel or Potter, have any real influence over signings. Eventually they'll scapegoat Potter and go for someone else who'll inherit the same problems.

Bryant need to see if he can do it season on season. he's gotten red hot before. not to this extent, but streakiness is in his nature. he's one of those guys where, if he's not scoring, he can be a passenger
