Klaus I don't think people from the UK grasp how extremely irrelevant and unknown Spurs are outside England. They got gaslighted by their media into assuming people know them but it's not even hating, genuinely no one does

Sicario2 I think winning against Athletic took more pressure off in terms of the fanbase. Ultimately Arsenal need to win games, that's just how it is. No one's going to be happier with a loss on Sunday just because Spurs are hilarious.

Meatwad they dominated every team they faced in the KO rounds. We missed a couple big chances but so did they and we deserved nothing from that tie with how we got rolled over and reverted to Pulis tactics.

@flobaba Hey flobs, you're Nigerian right? Have you heard anything lately about Razak Omotoyossi? I think he was Nigerian by birth but ended up playing for Benin. Anyway he died the other day, and it made me incredibly sad to hear, was nearly in tears. He used to play for my local club in the Swedish top division and won the golden boot around 2008 or so. He had a great striking partnership going for a while with an aging Henrik Larsson.

I have no idea what he died of but he was only 39, so I suspect it had to be one of the big three: cancer, crime or suicide. And if it were cancer I reckon they would have just said so. Just wondered if it had made the news in your end.

he's been battling depression. they said he recently lost his house in a fire and then his sister died and the depression contributed to his death so i'm assuming that means suicide.

Probably did, but if I'm honest I hardly follow Nigerian national team news. There's way too much dysfunction and corruption in the FA and it trickles down to the coaching and team selection and attitude. Tuned off a while back.

As meatwad says though it's likely suicide if depression was a huge factor. Africans (West) are typically hush hush about the subject, hence the lack of details.

Meatwad Cheers mate. Christ that's so fucking sad. He seemed like a genuinely good bloke. People over here were very fond of him. I was sure he was good enough for Premier League at one point but it didn't shake out that way for him.
