We've been able to make do relatively well with ball-playing central defenders as fullbacks.
I don't say Zinchenko, Timber and Calafiori haven't given or don't give us plenty over a crocked White and Tomiyasu, an uneven Kiwior, an inexperienced Skelly and an occasional Tierney, but that £70–100m could've gone a long way to signing a great striker.
