We are a very different side. I don't remember many games this season where our mental preparation can be questioned. It has been a real problem in the last decade or so away from home. We approach each match really well now. I can see us controlling and beating them if that continues.

Claudius Poorly worded on my part. It’s not the sole indicator, nor should our league position or run of results be ignored on the back of what may come. Just stating that their underlying numbers back up their league position, and they’re a top 8 side. It’ll be an extremely difficult game. Our recent record against them is poor, and they’ve outplayed us in pretty much every one of those. A win there should not be downplayed if we’re able to achieve it, and would really show just how far we’ve come.

James yeah fully agreed. But most of those was under Potter. Not that De Zerbi isn't a good coach but hopefully we have something for him.

Understood. De Zerbi is probably a better coach than Potter. My choice should Mikel ever leave us. He won’t be as great an interview but he constructs beautiful, effective football. At this point I’m just about taking it a game at a time, and then around round 30 I’ll see if I should really be thinking title.

I recall a game some years ago when we were merely fighting for top four, and we were down a goal. I pretended to have a faster stream, and preemptively (falsely) posted: "Gooooal, Lacaaaa!". I remember how mad and disappointed Claudius and others were that day!

Now, we have an actual exciting team, great coaching, with exciting potential to do something really special, Claudius be playing it all cool like he don't care...
