Cannon I don't think it's a given that a player will jump ship from Spurs to their biggest rival just because we're objectively the much better option. I'm sure you didn't think our players would happily move to Spurs these last few years even when they were in the CL and we weren't.

Yeah. If I were him I'd be looking at Saka and thinking I'm going to be playing a bit part role here.

goon Fair but he's only started 21 of Spurs games this season with 6 off the bench so it's not like he's a locked in starter for them either. Personally, I think he'd be a decent option to rotate with Saka given that we will have more games this year and allow us to compete on multiple fronts but I'd still prefer someone like Diaby over him.

But, for example, if the debate is 23 year old Kulusevski at 35M vs. soon to be 26 year old Mitoma at 60M+, I'd take Kulusevski and use the rest of the funds to target two top CMs.

Guys, he is NOT a spurs player, he is a Juve player on loan who just had a very average season with them.. They don't even have a manager at this point. I am sure we have more than 50% chance if we want him.

Cannon Most defo is BS and probably Spurs trying to get the fee down. Problem for them is in the current market there will be plenty of clubs interested. I'm just speculating 😆

He won't bench Saka but if he wants to play for a top club and push himself why not join us? Having a young hungry player under Saka will be good for him as well. I know we are being to linked to Diaby but I cannot see the point in blowing our budget on him when we will need to blow it on two CMs! Get someone in to play under Saka and our attacking lineup is very good imo.

Not sure he'd work here. Seems way too passive for me and someone who Arteta would get annoyed with and eventually freeze out for not working hard enough.

Big Willie he is only 21 though. He does seem like a ‘cool cat’ at times but IMO has the skills. He is more of a winger than a wing forward and can hold up the ball well.

Big Willie Arteta isn't going to go near him because his of his reputation and that even stretches back to making a bad impression with us and it doesn't sound like its changed since according to reports.

If we want to improve our football, our possession game and ability to put together intricate and less obvious moves we need a few more artists in the eleven. Not sure if it’d be possible to get him, but Tonali would be great.

Guys like Cancelo, De Jong, Olise, and maybe even Tielemans would help on that front

We need more physicality in centre of the park. When we went away to City our players were bouncing off theirs. This shouldn’t happen.

Players like Rodri should be the benchmark, we need them mean, street smart, ideally above 6 foot tall and that can play. Basically what Thomas Partey should have been for us.
