lorddulaarsenal I think this could be the year to give Nwaneri a proper bit of exposure, see where he's at.

Conditions are good to blood a youngster with no expectations now on the right, as despite our lack of cover for Saka and Øde, both play every single match, senior signings aren't going to want to compete with that.

Nwaneri looks quite physically advanced as well.

I still am not getting rid of my Fabio Vieira stock. There is a player in there. But I also agree that if we don't see something in the beginning of the year, it's time to move on.

IBL I was just watching some highlights and thinking about him yesterday. He's not as hyped as 12 months ago so it could be a good time but he's had a few injuries this season. It'd have to be for the right price.

Gazza M Kudus is great. We should have gotten him last summer when we were interested. He's definitely a CL player.

Pepe LeFrits there is no possible direct replacement for Odegaard. You wont get anyone close to him to take a squad role. What we need is to elevate the midfield overall so we can cope better if we do miss Odegaard. If you can get a Bruno type then you can play Smith-Rowe in midfield when Ode is out and not lose as much.

The thing is barring an injury we've seen Odegaard can keep trucking. The wingers look jaded, get kicked more, need that real sharpness near goal more, have to always have their burst. They need rotation more often.

Qwiss Yep, Kudus was a miss. Wonder why we didn't land him in the end. He's the most natural Saka replacement I've seen out there.

Coombs FFP rules most likely. Sounded like we couldn't shift certain players so didn't want to fall foul of the rules. I think that is why we signed Raya on a loan with option to buy.

JazzG good points. And probably why the club are happy to get rid of high earners who don't contribute much even if fans like them.

Talk earlier in the window wanted to move Partey & Cedric so we could free up some funds. We were linked to Lavia all summer until it looked like we couldn’t shift Partey.

I think with Kudus we’d only get him if we sold someone like Eddie for bigger money or if Ajax agreed to a loan + buy option, which it doesn’t seem like many clubs want.

Love Kudus but could he play on the left? He's too good to just be Saka's backup.

I'd love us to bring in five players this summer: starting LCM, starting LW, backup #9, natural left-back (or LB/LCB hybrid), backup GK. In an ideal world we also bring in a more pivote-style #6, maybe a younger player who can take Jorginho's role in a year's time.

We haven't been linked that seriously to a winger this summer from what I've seen though. A bit worried about that. If Kai is our Firmino, and Saka our Salah, we still need a Mane on the left.

CPM he's played on the left a good few times for West Ham and looked good. His flexibility would be a bonus. I don't see him moving this summer though.
