Would probably rather not but even with him coming down to earth he's probably not a lot worse than Toney if at all. Osimhen a much safer option both re floor and ceiling performance
Don't think we need a superstar center forward, we just need to go from "mediocre" to "very good" up front, and it is really hard to find #9s these days. Like the idea of Toney as a more known commodity, PL-experienced and generally stays fit. Seeing how well Jesus subbed in for Saka on RW makes me like the idea of Martinelli-Toney-Saka starting XI with Jesus and Trossard as squad players who can play across the forward line. That's a stable of five strong forwards, and that's what you need to win a league.
But a downgrade in our first choice attack from what we have now.
