He would be coming here to be a 2nd choice winger. To take Nelson’s spot essentially. Would it be worth the eyeball or whatever critical organ it could cost to bring someone in merely for that role? My it’s not my money attitude is typically reserved to first teamers, not backups.
flobaba I agree. We have to make sure any big outlaysgo straight to strengthening us significantly. For me there are several positions that we should invest in first. Most obvious being CF.
QuincyAbeyie You can see why we have tried a few times for him now. Despite the major injuries still looks class.
Hope we are keeping a close eye on him and Redondo, we need to move Partey on and Jorginho needs to be moved on in the summer. So opens up a slot for a No.6 next summer, either we get another experienced player in or we need to get a shit hot prospect.
A Brazilian named Gabriel? I'm sold. Get him in!
est Paulista
Personally, I never had a problem with Paulista. Was an alright player in my opinion.
Also, without him there would not be this classic of a meme:
Bin off Havertz, Smith Rowe, Jorginho and Nketiah
Sign Neto, Toney (with Ferguson or a big striker next summer), Barella and Enciso
arteta is going to break saka this season, so we probably do need another winger. neto in winter, Ferguson in summer
Yeah that winger is becoming increasingly more important
We should have signed Neto this summer. His performances this season will triple a transfer fee.
He's so good. We were interested previously. Plays like a better Reece James that don't get injured.
Pity we only wants CB for fullback positions. If we are after a proper fullback we should be after him
too much of a traditional fullback for arteta. he would come here just for "tactical flexibility".
Boniface impressing again (vs Koln). Hasn't scored yet but some excellent play. For a larger player, he's surprisingly capable to create for himself.
Guirassy. I’ve seen enough. He’s the one we need. Probably a summer signing though. Reminds me of Etoo except slightly less refined but bigger.
I like the idea of getting Tony this January, but don’t want him to cock block us for a superstar for next season.
lorddulaarsenal @jones verdict pls
Guirassy Quentin Timber Neto
Pure flames mate
Clrnc hard to say really his current form is obviously unsustainable otherwise he'd be literally Messi level. Stuttgart are set up to extract everything out of him and they're absolutely flying at the moment
Would probably rather not but even with him coming down to earth he's probably not a lot worse than Toney if at all. Osimhen a much safer option both re floor and ceiling performance
Don't think we need a superstar center forward, we just need to go from "mediocre" to "very good" up front, and it is really hard to find #9s these days. Like the idea of Toney as a more known commodity, PL-experienced and generally stays fit. Seeing how well Jesus subbed in for Saka on RW makes me like the idea of Martinelli-Toney-Saka starting XI with Jesus and Trossard as squad players who can play across the forward line. That's a stable of five strong forwards, and that's what you need to win a league.
But a downgrade in our first choice attack from what we have now.
