James Its been terrible businesswise but we need to move on from that. If players like Holding, Tierney, etc move on it has to be at the right price. Cedric can go for free given his age and uselessness but we need to get more from our assets now. Even Lokonga should be loaned instead of sold if we can't recoup what we paid.

Qwiss Yeah its been discussed to death how terrible our sales are, not all Edu's fault tbf due to our we market our players in the media openly. It hasn't affected our incoming at all so it's not a big deal few years on but now with our increased reputation, league standing, we need to make sure our players have fair value when sold now.

It will be interesting to see how sales develop in the coming years. My theory has always been that part of it is an image issue with our lack of success. If we develop a bit of a sheen our players will start to look a little more shiny. I'd imagine for example, that Roma would be willing to part with more than £10m or whatever it was they were willing to offer for Xhaka.

Sambi, Tierney, Nuno and potentially someone like Balogun should hopefully lead to some decent sales.

goon You would think so, it could be a factor but then again you look at some big clubs who in some period fell down terribly and still manage to sell for big money. You just have to stand firm sometimes and not whore yourself out in public.

goon I want us to keep Balogun next season or at least loan him again. He's tearing it up in Ligue 1. Don't think now's the time to extract maximum value with him even if we want to sell.

You'd have to think Tierney would be nice n high demand in the PL. He's an excellent full back.

We have a sell on clause so there may be another _£5m coming in on his transfer fee.

AMN looks like he's probably going to end up being someone that goes for a pittance though. Underwhelming squad player in a team that looks certain to go down and about to turn 26. We'll be lucky to get 10m at this point.

Could work both ways though. The Milan clubs are rumoured to be interested and if he ends up with 20 odd goals I'm sure there will be others in the Premier League too. Unlikely to be many mins for him here so it might be one of those where you cash in early for £30m+ rather than gamble on another loan.

I would be appalled if we got less than 20m for Tierney.

Plenty of teams would love what he offers.
