There's very little downside for Mbappe. It's not a choice between Madrid or Al Hilal, it's whether he wants to continue for another season at PSG where the club is run like a clown car and no one really cares what he does anyway. The only question is whether playing in a vastly inferior league for a year will dull his skills - although for that kind of money he could pay for the best coaching staff in the world and arrange his own friendlies.
Although if we're being honest, if he was a serious player he would have left PSG a long time ago. Whatever people say about Messi or Ronaldo, they wouldn't have wasted their early years in Ligue 1 and get themselves stuck in a position like this.
