Kane is a brilliant striker, unquestionably, and I am being slighty tongue-in-cheek, but I'm 100% serious when I say he's a notch down from the very best strikers in the world because he is incredibly slow and unathletic. If he had a yard of pace, he would have been able to consistently make the difference at the very, very highest level, against the very best defenders, and would have been playing for Madrid or Barcelona for at least the last 5 years.

As for Vlahovic it'd be a real pity if Postecoglou got his hands on him. It's a shame Postecoglou has tarnished himself with a move to Spurs in the first place, as he is exactly the manager to get a song out of a talented striker with an ego who's been going to waste.

The latter, definitely. He doesn't score any of his goals because of speed - he has genuinely never had any. He scores because he has a superb first touch in the box, hits it really well off both feet and has a nose for space in the box. He will lose what little physical dynamism he has and that'll cost him some headed goals, and goals where he reacts quicker than a defender, but most of his goals come because he consistently finds a yard of space through great anticipation and/or positioning. You'll rarely see him bang one in or score in some impressive way ala Haaland - he's a percentage player. He makes the right moves over and over, and that guarantees 15+ goals, and more if the team is set-up to suit him.

That's minimum of 70 goals just in the front line. Add another 20 from midfield and another 10 - 20 in miscellaneous strikes. You're strolling across the 100 goal barrier easy peasy

Why on earth would Kane being rated as world class change the fact that he's a diving cunt who injures people and has never won anything..? If you take someone saying he's world class to mean that those things aren't true, you're sorely mistaken.

'World class' is a bit of a subjective term, Clrnc, but without question he's a good couple of notches below the very best strikers.

Watch him for England in KO matches. He often struggle because he is not agile enough in the highest level.
