Claudius Another thing to consider is the PL having so much money, clubs would prefer to sell abroad but the transfer fees and high wages aren't readily available there. So very hard moving players and when you're at a top club players get comfortable.
I remember Wenger talking about how players going forward would look to run their contracts down, we've been stung by that a few times over the years.
