I'm not concerned with the lack of signings as everyone has said. We definitely had a few opportunities we had earmarked at the start of the summer that we wanted to run down and unfortunately they didn't work out (but are still potentially available next summer): Isak, Sesko, Nico Williams.
I expect we have another list of targets that MAY become available before the end of the summer that we are going to wait on since the pool of players that could legitimately take us up a level (FdJ, Guimaraes) may have circumstances around them that may make them available.
I will get nervous if City makes some moves like Guimaraes or a class replacement for Alvarez. But until then, I still feel good about this season.
