I like the Zirkzee and De Ligt signings for United. Will be interesting to see how Zirkzee fits in with Hojlund - could see them playing both of them with Zirkzee playing more of a SS and Hojlund as the more traditional 9. I am not a huge fan of Ugarte though. He's not great on the ball and while he is a good ball winner, he can be pretty rash in his challenges and it wouldn't surprise me to see him near the top of the list in red cards next year if he moved to United.
Wonder what happened with De Ligt, went to two big European clubs and neither club have hesitated to move him on. When he left Ajax looked like he would be one of the best CBs in the world. I suppose you could argue the same for De Jong as well, hasn't really lit it up at Barca.
Branthwaite is not a 50 mil player. Manc recruitment still dodgy as ever.
banduan I mean we never know. We signed White who has a similar profile for 55m as well back then and Braithwaite is younger at this stage anyway. White turned out to be worth the money.
I think by signing Yoro and De Ligt they won't be going for Braithwaite anyway
We also have an injured past it shit DM, do the Saudis know?
Barcelona having plans to sign 2-3 60 mil players even if they have no money. How ?
Roma moving, hope they win something
Bayern going for the players I want to see at Arsenal
Clrnc both him and Olise ffs
Clrnc they're going to build a strong team in the next 2-3 years, assuming wirtz goes there as well
Not sure if you've heard but we're signing 3 first team goalkeepers. Fuck Bayern, but everything is going according to plan.
Big Willie 😂
In all seriousness I think other than the 3 goalies we are going to sign based on Inaki Cuntna master plan, we will probably get Merino, Calafiori and maybe one hybrid AM/Winger that can also play up front and call it a day.
Clrnc doesn't sound like enough to win a title.
Good signing for them.
JazzG Emery really going places. But they need all these players for UCL football
Clrnc He's lost Luiz as well so needs a big player there, Onana still is a bit raw imo but he'll develop well there.
A club trying to establish itself as one that belongs in the top 4 seems like a good fit for Onana, though I might be underrating him.
Everton getting good money for him as well. £50m would have been too steep for us imo. We need a ball playing midfielder first and then someone like him, £50m would probably take too much out of our budget.
Just realised 50m + 20% sell on clause. That's a very expensive deal for Villa.
Clrnc it's basically a guaranteed loss, financially. Better hope he somehow becomes a much better player.
HIm and Holding were really really shit football players. How and why did they play for so long for us?
remember when he was thing?
Italian teams always moving player around lol
HomeSteak How and why did they play for so long for us?
In Chambers' case it was the fantasy he was the footballer that Ben White actually is. Cost us £16m as well.
the sell-on % is on the profit. e.g., they aren't getting 20% of a future 60m sale, but 20% of 10m.
