It will be interesting to see how sales develop in the coming years. My theory has always been that part of it is an image issue with our lack of success. If we develop a bit of a sheen our players will start to look a little more shiny. I'd imagine for example, that Roma would be willing to part with more than £10m or whatever it was they were willing to offer for Xhaka.
Sambi, Tierney, Nuno and potentially someone like Balogun should hopefully lead to some decent sales.
