Sicario2 Indy is in his purple patch, didn't he have a few week period last year as well before reverting back?
QuincyAbeyie since about 12 months ago yes. Even Ornstein endorsed them.
Minteh is a good player , could go up a level similar to Mane
GooneriC mane was older when he moved to pool, but he was also a double digit PL goal scorer at southampton and had a much smaller step up to make. i wouldn't compare minteh to that level just yet. this is just another example of the sorry state of the market for wingers and complete desperation ... probably going to get quoted 100m since everyone is worth that.
GooneriC mane was further along when he moved to pool. minteh still looks very raw
Should cite that Savinho fee as benchmark for Martinelli
GooneriC it’s an extremely imperfect and inconsistent market. We can quote that and draw comparisons all we like, but if we don’t have a chequebook club making stupid decisions interested, no amount of benchmarking is going to bump up the fee.
GooneriC If a PL club wanted him, maybe we could do that.
We need a Raya alternative. He's the last one left without a good alternative.
There's something wrong with that Savinho and Marmoush situation. 150 for both combined is robbery but 100 of it for Savinho is absolute insanity
tazmania Its fraud. Designed to let them dodge a selling on fee , it should be investigated and both City and Spurs should be sanctioned if they cooked it like that.
Gazza M Mane was clearly a good player I remember I wanted Arsenal to get him at the time and it seemed like a player Wenger would have signed previously. He was clearly a very good player even then.
Gazza M He had 2 seasons of scoring 10+ league goals before joining Liverpool, I think Man Utd were strongly linked to him as well.
HomeSteak that is a genuinely baffling price for Savinho.
Qwiss look at the kind of stuff that comes out about football clubs and administrators. Imagine the type of stuff that doesn’t get out. Doubt the premier league has the ability to trace offshore payments to these clubs and their owners that help prop up various fees. Because there is no way some of these transfer numbers from a certain club make sense
Spurs will be much improved this year , building a good squad , regardless of them overpaying
GooneriC really?
They look weaker in defence.
They’ll move the ball around a bit better but there team would be one of the least physical in the division
GooneriC I wonder if all the ppl that didn’t mind spurs staying up last season still feel that way?
When your enemy is weak you kill them because if not they come back stronger.
Sicario2 Don't care about Spurs frankly. More focused on Pool, Yanited, City, Chelsea (in that order).
Sicario2 we killed them as much as we could tbf. Eze basically filleted them.

We killed them enough by beating them home and away. Not much else we could do, and whether people minded or not wasn't gonna change that fact.
Sicario2 yeah it was so unfortunate that we dropped points to them and helped them stay up. shame on us.
Sicario2 it's not like we have a choice in where they positioned, would you rather lose to West Ham and lose the league
daredevil Frankfurt should decline to do business with them ever again.
