Gunner89 completely disagree. Tielemans has been excellent throughout his time in the league. Getting him for £35m is great business by United. Doesn't really move the needle but considering they've basically no midfield having someone like him come in that cheap is a really good deal. It seems like they are focussed on remaining a top 5 side with their signings so far rather than trying to compete for the title but its probably sensible.

Klaus he'll be fine in the league. Doubt we'll see much of him in the CL knockouts.

i don't have the capacity to judge a player like bouaddi. he looked damn good against brazil and then every game after he looked MEH and yet his rep went UP so i clearly don't know what i'm seeing. what i can tell though is that he's not a 100m player even in this 130m elliot anderson market.

Bouaddi was a very intriguing opportunity when it seemed like he could be got for 50/60m but at 100m, you're essentially paying for the finished product and assuming all risk. Love the potential but no thanks.

Film is out on him, so yeah the other teams in the World Cup have adjusted how they play him (tighter, get the body on him). Still think he's a tidy player but lots of developing to do, and truthfully looks more of a high floor, low ceiling type of player to me.
