Tam the bigger problem is you can't allow desperate clubs like Tottenham, Chelsea and City to an extent set the market rate. Tottenham doesn't even have the money they are spending. It's a massive gamble on their part, and I can't wait to see it backfire.
We need to be bold, but we still need to go about this sensibly. Rogers for 130m? is just stupid. I like the player but I can't say I'm too eager for him at that price. Good thing he seems to be all in which should strengthen our hand somewhat during negotiations ala Gyokeres.
