Yeah, and Liverpool have also been now bitten by huge transfer fees for Ekitike, Isak and Wirtz in ONE season, all of whom flopped (to different extents) and they were much more 'proven' in their respective leagues than some 19 year old with one season under his belt. I dont think his stock has risen by 60-80 million in one year (Leipzig bought him for 20, IIRC). I would be surprised to see him move for more than 50 or 60 at the very most

Does seem a bit too steep but he does have a lot of potential and is very exciting. Doesn't really seem to have any weaknesses.

Be very interesting to see how he does if he goes to Liverpool. Would love for us to throw our hat in the ring.

Diomande looks a potential world beater to me. If we can pay £50m then spending £60-70 for someone with that kind of skillset and potential is not that obscene to me. Guy is like an improved Madueke with actual end product.

In this market I'd say it's worth it. I was kind of surprised everyone was saying he's too not worth the money a couple weeks back when he was linked with Liverpool, if he's really rated around €70-80m thats not much more than the £55m we paid for Madueke.

Claudius ridiculous that Wirtz didn't make the top 10. Guarantee if we splash £120m on someone this summer and they're that bad and we fall to 5th it'll be the story of the season.

That Isak transfer ended up exactly like I thought it would. Horrible first season for him. Now it's going to be followed by a second season where people slowly realise that he's nowhere near as good as they thought he was, nor even the same type of player.
