On the converse, Chelsea who you point to as an example of what we are doing wrong, is the same team who signed Mudryk, Sterling, Sancho, Neto, Madueke, Fofana, Guiu, Palmer and Jackson in the last 2 years. Of that group, only Palmer and Jackson are delivering value; while you would say that they destroyed significant value by acquiring Mudryk, Sterling, Sanco and Neto for a combined £195 million. These FOUR players jointly contributed 12 Chelsea goals this year, 4 of which were UECL.
