So I guess the highlight of Wales 'golden generation' remains celebrating like they won the Euros when another team lost.

So as poor as we were against USA and "boring" at other times, we go through top of the group as currently top scorers in the tournament, even more than Spain who won their first game 7-0. Senegal will a tough game. 8am Monday here so will need to find another excuse to stay home from work.

Rashford has activated beast mode. Was hoping we’d make a move for him but United won’t sell now

He's a threat when his confidence isn't on the floor but his touch is pretty bad.

England have played 50% more matches than Spain.

I hope this is some rivalry banter and not a serious comment. For a small nation like Wales to get to the semi finals of the Euros was huge.

Yes, I said "currently." 7 other teams have also played 50% more games than Spain, and no other team in the tournament even have as many goals as Spain got in their first game. Was just a noting that however "poor" and "boring" England have looked, they go through as winners of the group with 9 goals in 3 games.

And yes, the other comment on Wales was clearly rivalry banter and a dig at the way their players celebrated England losing at Euro 2016. I get the rivalry between home nations and the rest all want England to lose etc, but just found it bizarre for the players themselves who were still in the tournament to celebrate a game that had nothing to do with them (think it was even on the other side of the draw so didn't even have any bearing on who they would play) like that.

Which other games have you been to so far?

Lost count 😆 was on 2 matches per day schedule for past 5 days, now 1 match per day. Tomorrow Mexico Saudi.

There are some very underrated and interesting players of this world cup. And fun to learn about the different cultures (good and bad) of all the teams

Lots of arrest everywhere though.

What have you seen arrests for? How many?

Nice. I guess the stadiums are close enough together that it's fairly easy to get to more than one on the same day?
How's the fan village?

The World Cup is basically this seasons League Cup - hurry up and get it out the way so we can see the conclusion of the Prem

Enjoy Clrnc , I might be going England Senegal that’s it.

How’s the accommodation been? Ship?

You should write a blog hahaha

Disagree. Think KO stages is where it gets really interesting now.

Can’t see England beating France in the quarters though.

Yeah this is probably the one and only world cup that you can go to many matches in a day since all the stadiums is in one city and near. The transportation is flawless too, no delays at all and don't need to leave the stadium early to get out of jams unlike say for Arsenal matches at Emirates.

The ship was too expensive, the last I checked it was going around 3k usd per night so I got the 400usd boxes. Not as bad as it was made out, conditions are doable.

How lucky are we to have Ramsdale and Turner? Fantastic.

I’m sure that Arsenal’s No2 is enjoying starting all his national team games while Arsenal’ No1 sits on the bench. Hard to challenge Southgate when he’s top with two goals conceded in a rout.

Yeah but you scored those goals against Iran and Wales, the nation equivalent of "well done he's 13".

England are among the favourites but they really haven't been brilliant to watch. Game vs US was dreadful, showed defensive frailties vs Iran and Wales are just awful. Still think Southgate doesn't nearly get the best out the squad he has.

I think England have been stable and reliable. They have to count themselves amongst the favorites along with Brazil, Croatia, Portugal, France at this point. Brazil still need to figure out how to play without Neymar for the next 2 games. But that’s the core group I see winning this thing.

He's not the best ever MLS keeper statistically for nothing.

I knew he will be a fantastic signing. After watching USA live twice I'm actually quite impressed by his kicking, came a long way from when he first started. Command of box and shot stopping top notch as expected

Brazil France and Spain are the ones I see winning, then England. Croatia are nowhere near close, Portugal might shithouse their way into contention

It's great to know Turner is so competent. A great signing by the club.
