Big Willie My issue with this is more the knock on effects it has on out midfield and attacking shape with Partey dropping to RB.

Claudius I already mentioned it. Don't end up moving Timber/Partey and Rice at the same time. Move as few pieces as possible.

Either play Kiwior and keep Timber, Partey and Rice in their preferred positions, or if you don't want to play Kiwior, bring in Jorginho and at least you still have a passing progression style player at 6 rather than moving Rice back and bringing in Merino.

No. If we're refusing to put in Kiwior and are adamant about putting Partey at RB then bring in Jorginho at 6.

I'm no fan of Partey (in general) at right back but given the availability issues, and last night being as close to a competitive dead rubber as you're likely to find, it's not that big a deal.

There's other games we definitely shouldn't be taking the risk of having him there though and last night was more evidence that he isn't suitable and it should only be a in an immediate last resort i.e. no other players available at all.

Yeah last night I didn't care at all who played. I wanted to rest as many players as possible.

Partey is not a RB. It’s just unlucky that two of Timber’s deputies are both injured at the same time. What else would you expect from a 4th choice RB?

Doesn’t take away what he has done for us this season in midfield.

Should take every opportunity they(we) get. He hasn't done much from midfield either. A few decent passes and a goal or two while the opposition runs by him unchallenged game after game.

He had a purple patch at the start of the season that got the hipsters fawning over him again. He's been average to good in a lot of games. Particularly poor in the Spurs game but overlooked because of the involvement in the Trossard goal.

Tam ironically his best asset this season has been his availability.

Sicario2 he's played more minutes than any of our mids or forwards. Only Saliba, Gabriel and Raya ahead of him. Seems like asking for trouble TBH.

Qwiss -- interesting, not overly surprised but certainly that has been incredibly helpful for the squad. At the least, it's kept an underwhelming Merino from getting too many minutes.

Sicario2 for personal reasons I just prefer that he move on. Appreciate his quality and recognize that we will be a man down when Jorginho leaves, but prefer to part ways

Claudius mate it’s been two years and he’s been playing. Don’t let media and Twitter rumours cloud your vision. Did you celebrate when he scored? If you did then him playing another year should be fine.

If he’s guilty throw the book at him but if we have carried him this long antoher year makes little difference. Either he’s guilty or he’s not.
