There’s really no need for anyone else at centre back when we have a perfect capable CB there. He’s had a few shaky performances, but he’s not a novice. If we’re at the point where Arteta doesn’t have enough belief to play our third choice centre back, then we should be in the market for his replacement too because going into the last four months gambling on Saliba and Gabriel’s fitness would be downright negligent.

Big Willie hilarious. One missing letter changes a lot. I meant at Right centre back. Not right back. Kiwior played there and never passed down the right flank. He constantly passed out to the left centre back and left back. It’s a body shape thing, which is incredibly important if you’re a possession team and trying to break the press.

Coombs every time you hear an ex-player doing punditry they say "you can be sure Arsenal were all watching that" etc in those situations so I assume its the norm. Although it does fly in the face of the stuff Arteta and the players come out with about not worrying about other teams and other results, etc Does seem a bit counter productive though. Can't imagine those late goals helped our morale.

yeah, and those were the ones where they scored from. So many instances of brain-dead casual passing and recreational ball-watching.

Had a good game against Liverpool didn't he? I can't remember how Liverpool scored that day or whether Partey was a fault.

We aren't playing him there because Arteta really rates him there, he is being played there because of the injury situation at the club. White & Tomi are out injured and we simply cannot afford to lose Timber as well so need to manage his minutes.

The concern is mayne not the goals we concede with him at RB, the bigger concern is him being in RB in the first place and what that means for our midfield shape, which is even more exaggerated when Jorginho isn't coming in the step in.
