Honestly, I don't care if it hurts our product on the field this season but every minute he plays in our kit is a disgrace to this great club. There is more than enough smoke to the fire to at least not play him. As a father of two young boys, what kind of message is that sending to my kids? Sometimes the tough decisions just have to be made even if it weakens the squad temporarily. I'd also contend that a fully fit midfield with Rice, Merino and Odegaard is much better than having him play out there. He's had a few good performances but there are still lapses in judgment in transition that pop up every game and the positives to his play are not as great as some are making out to me personally. Bin him, bench him - I don't really care but I don't want to continue seeing him on the pitch this season and definitely don't want him on the club after this summer. Good riddance.
