So it's not a "news story" that has been "quashed" at all. Add to that he is still under investigation for at least one separate allegation.

Usually he struggles at RB but looked good today. Never seen him so fit and sharp (touch wood).
He’s been our rock this season. The constant throughout the tumult of red cards and injuries. He was fantastic today. I was really worried that Diaz would keep getting the better of him, and Partey did as well as a good fullback would. Definitely top 3 player this season for us so far.

If he's playing like this he won't settle for a 1 year contract to begin with. A 2 year contract elsewhere would see him out till he's 34 which would be much more appealing for his team.

We need to offload his wages in summer and go big on the right and proper prime age midfielder. We'd be better off now if we'd gotten shot of Partey eighteen months ago.
Claudius Agreed, kind of why I still have some hope for Jesus. When a player has chronic injuries they play within themselves as I think they get anxious about re injuring themselves, once they break that mental block they usually get back to their best.
Just be glad he's fit and playing well now, make the big change in the summer and sign a proper play making DM to replace him.
