In a period where Arsenal has mostly been reasserting an atmosphere of class and good character—however contrived that may be in the modern football landscape—I've got respect for the fans currently boycotting an excellent Arsenal season due to his continued presence.

Partey has barely managed five 90s this season and for most of that he's been out of form too. He should already have been moved on for "footballing reasons" anyway, but it's beyond time by this summer. Shop window and get rid.

But you wouldn't be shocked if there was secret exonerating information behind the scenes at Arsenal that still didn't rate a mention to bring over a year of police work to an early finish ... I see ... 🤔

If we're gonna take Occam's razor to this, my hunch is the situation at the club was some variation on "Come on, Thomas is a good lad in training, he's sorting himself out now, he's married! Besides that woman was derang—oh, you meant the other one? Well, she was pretty deranged too. Besides, we're talking about a player who cost us £45m."
