Gazza M A Zubimendi / Rice combo might have been the more impactful combo over the summer were we able to secure the former, given how our midfield is slightly imbalanced. But the need for another forward who can give us more than Nketiah, ESR, Nelson etc combined is quiete obvious. Martinelli and Saka are still quite young and we are expecting them to perform like peak players. I’m fine with Rice, Odegaard, Saliba, Gabriel etc playing 38 games, but young forwards with their pressing, dribbling and progression numbers need credible relief.
