QuincyAbeyie Partey fell off because of his bad attitude and not caring, while the other players fell off because of understandable reason
I'd say both physical and mental fatigue. There was one specific moment where his body language dropped during that run, after a ridiculous refereeing decision.
I think (and I said at the time) Arteta is the one to hold to account for the fact we couldn't eke points out of that run in April, and were so often getting bullied and making errors. I think he was sluggish making subs and tactical changes both during and between matches, and whatever he did in the dressing room didn't take the pressure off the players who were making dumb, match-deciding errors during that period.
As far as the accusations of rape against Partey go, it looks like we face another season of committed hand-wringing about how hard it is for players who suffer such terrible allegations, instead of Arsenal doing what it should've done—shown some mettle and suspended Partey or moved him on like other organisations would with a contractor.
