Who doesn't enjoy a good 5-0 win? Splendid stuff.

Really happy for Reiss. Contributions like his today, is what a team contending for the title needs from time to time from it's squad players. Hopefully he and the likes of Vieira, ESR, Nketiah and maybe Marquinhos at some stage can step in with more game-winning contributions like this as the season goes on.

Also, big shout out to Benny Blanco. What a monster block. The whole game could have been so different had he not blocked that shot.

Good to get the result. We looked off in the first half still but once we got that second they fell apart. Good to get that type of result but I'm cautious about reading too much into it as Forest are the worst side in the league and ship a good load of goals. Next week going to an interesting barometer for if we've shaken off this dip.

You could always read into ten wins, one draw, one loss if you want the bigger picture.

They always said don't look at the table till your 10 games in, well it's 12 and we're top. Only City have been at our level this season. The other teams aren't that good, we should be finishing top 2 this season.

Call me nervy but the form we've showed in the past few weeks still concerns me. Great that we trashed Forest but they've also been relegation fodder all season.

If we can get a decent performance in against Chelsea, maybe (just maybe) I'll start to feel more assured.

We just need to ensure we don’t lose the guys like Jesus, Saka, Partey, Martinelli who are hard to replace in the short run

Missed the match but glad to hear it was a good performance. Last few games we’ve looked jaded so a good confidence boosting performance was needed.

Hopefully Saka is alright. Glad Reiss got some minutes and scored, will do his confidence a massive boost. Always want to see homegrown kids do well.

For guys who are concerned about our last two premier games, go watch our rivals

United won today with 0,9xG and basically playing a low block for the last 20 minutes
Spurs won after being 2-0 down and depending on 20 corners and a barrage of Stoke like crosses
Chelsea were dominated
Liverpool. Lol.

We took our foot of the gas in a couple of games. But the overall trend is clear. We are far far better than these teams.

Could have already lost Saka. Hopefully it's not anything serious though.

Xhaka as well. Dude has become so important to our game. Totally transformed this season.

As mentioned all through - perfect performance, and result. Only regret is we didn't get many more goals.

Reiss needed those goals. Should do his confidence a world of good, especially if he's expected to replace Saka for an extended period of time. Hopefully that's not the case

Special mention to Blanco, Xhaka and Tommy P.

Not happy about Jesus, not taking his chances. This is exactly the criticism many on here had of his game while at City. He is not as clinical as we need him to be.

Not worried about Jesus at all. He's not clinical and probably never will be just some of these chances will start going in when he regains a bit of composure. In the meantime the impact he's having on our game means it's pretty easy look past his conversion rate at the moment. One doesn't count on a technicality but pretty much got a hattrick of assists today.
