Lyanco and the Croatian lad are a pair of thugs and the ref gave them free rein all game. Disappointing result but not surprising. Games like today you can see why we tried to get Raphinha in the summer, we need another forward. Partey was terrible in the second half too, doesn't look to have the legs for a full 90

dropped points have been coming. could've been against Liverpool or Leeds, but it's happened here. reckon we'll have a couple more dropped points in the next few games, and the points tally we have at that point would be a fair reflection of the level of the team. we've outperformed in terms of points thus far, no reason to panic if we drop a few more points imo

Would've looked a lot different had we taken our chances properly. Bad forward play. Saka, Martinelli, and Jesus just aren't enough yet. Bad decisions or very poor finishing in our forward line is our major weakness.

The right subs were made but Fabio and Eddie were so disappointing. I know he started midweek but why was Eddie jogging?

Starting to think Eddie isn't cutting it even as a backup. Hope we buy a striker/wide forward in Jan.

Think we need a striker , Eddie looked so poor and slow , even then he had a chance to score and should have buried it. Why no Marquinhos? We needed attacking impetus , 10 minutes of him running at defenders would have created one or two more chances

He’s too high up in the rotation. He’s fine. But Martinelli and Saka are skilful, powerful players. We need someone else who can do this. Jesus is probably the best alternate to Martinelli and Saka, but he’s already overplayed.

Nketiah is an average player, energetic at best, offers nothing at worst. Need a better back up for sure.

Is any of our back-ups for the 2 wide forward positions as good as Pepe?

We really need to bring in a top quality (versatile) forward in January

Pépé was just a bad situation that needed to end. You needed players who were integrated with the program. He was always on the outside. Leaving was the best thing for everyone.
But we do need someone ahead of Nketiah, especially with ESR’s faulty groin.

I'm beginning to worry about Jesus , his scoring form is really off . He should have scored two of those chances with relative ease.

No idea what Vieira supposedly offers. Doesn't even look like a "talented" footballer at the moment. Just a bag of nerves and weak as piss.

We desperately need two quality signings.
So that we can rotate the players game to game as well. We don’t have to play the same 11 every single day. That’s why they’re so jaded.

That's how he was at city. He's not a pure goal scorer but at least he offers many other qualities we need. We definitely lack a cutting edge goalscorer on the team, no one can do that consistently yet
