Scratchy one nil, Leeds missing a penalty and then getting another one in injury time, only to have it snatched away? Twenty years later, I haven't often wished I still lived in Leeds but yesterday was one of those days. I would, of course, had my head kicked in if I did, but that's another matter...
Hopefully, it isn't lost here that we actually played some really lovely football in the first half - as someone else said, the move that led to the yellow card that wasn't on Gabriel Jesus was gorgeous, and not an isolated passage of play. We just got a bit elaborate around the penalty area. Second half, I think it's possibly to expected given what the players went through in Norway on Thursday night and Leeds managed to keep their aggression going throughout the match, which I wasn't sure they could.
Bukayo Saka is something else though, isn't he? The pass from Odegaard is good, but is anyone expecting Saka to score from that angle and on his wrong foot to boot? A literal madness.
