Have to say I disagree about him taking too many touches. I actually think he treats the ball like a hot potato at times, getting rid of it to the closest player he's facing. It's why we just about get away with it yesterday because at least he moved it quickly to other players who can progress it and it's the one advantage he has over Sambi right now. But we lose so much from his inability to progress the ball himself.
Fully agree - I was actually saying to myself how good he is for a retention game. He completely lacks cutting edge, but some of his one touch passing is actually pretty impressive, it's like bouncing the ball off a wall. Really quick and snappy.
Thought odegaard was really good throughout the game, more willingness to shoot and that chip pass through to Nketiah was insanely good. Thought he was a real driving force.
Nketiah has added a lot of power and explosiveness to his game, he lacks a bit of polish but is certainly a game changer off the bench.
I thought Saka was very one dimensional, needs to work on his right foot (or at least trust it more) if he is to go up a level.
Jesus continues to amaze me, he has proper magic in his boots
