It's not about the effect on them at the Etihad so much. It's better for us if they stay in the competition any which way. The questions of focus and inconvenient travel are more important than the rest.
With this result Bayern will try to come back at them in a fury in Munich, bodes well I reckon as whatever else happens, the Germans will be running hard at them to revive the tie.
