We got screwed that season because Wenger failed to make obvious reinforcements to the squad, and then we tried and failed to sign Vardy after Leicester Steven Bradbury'd the whole league. Banter era.

Yup. We beat them twice and I think they may have lost one more. Either that or our two wins were the only ones. As BW says, Vardy, Mahrez and Kante were unstoppable, Vardy in particukar scored in like 10 or 11 games on the bounce.

Would have been an unbelievable signing, probably would have won us the league at least once and probably kept AW in the job a little while longer.

Liverpool also beat them. That, and our double over them, was it. Somehow.

Didn't realise they lost they few?! They were genuinely incredible that year nobody could beat them and they kept coming g back in games after falling behind.

We dropped so many stupid points after we beat them at the Emirates. Literally gave the title away

Well we got 12/15 from the last 5 and that's despite Brentford away subbing in for Everton at home. I'd have taken that all things considered.

The next 5 looks altogether more manageable thanks to the City postponement. 3 home games, 2 away and 2 vs 'big 6'.

For top 4 I think 11 points will do but if we have dreams of challenging which I absolutely do, then probably need to aim for 13-15. What are we thinking?

Should get at least 4 points from Spurs/Pool.

The other three are games we'll normally win but wouldn't be surprising if we slip in one of those three games.

Could go in any direction if we show up the way we did a few times last season.

If you offered me 10 points and beating Spurs I'd take it.

Was interested to see that Man City have yet to play anyone in the top 9. Already dropped points twice, and looked average for large parts vs Dortmund.

Looking forward to them getting their first loss out of the way. They spend so much goddamn money on perfecting Pep-ball that I worry about them outdoing the Invincibles each season ...

Fortunately the World Cup will create some chaos and they will surely lose a match or two before the break.
