Place another press resistant midfielder who is comfy on the ball ahead of them, and a couple of actual ball playing defenders on the flanks and we'll be cooking with Crisco.

Early days against relegation candidates, but I thought they looked very promising together. Definitely better than what White looked like in his early games.

Said couple months ago I'd rather replace him than Tavares. Really liked the look of him in the beginning but he's deteriorated and his availability is a joke. Atrocious signing, not sure how he passed his medical in the first place because it's not like with Partey where his issues started here

Saliba has a very good chance of getting Whites mins on first viewing, very good on the cover. I must say I prefer him on the ball too.

Eddie looks a different player altogether from a couple years back, think fans have underestimated the importance of getting him to re-sign.

With Tomi’s injuries, and if we don’t get a RB, then we’re better off just pushing White to RB. He can be a Kyle walker type player, covering at RB and occasionally at CB.

We need two starting full backs really, both Tierney and Tomiyasu are not reliable enough.

I think England might have done the same. The post-Kane years are going to be a bit of a headache up front if Eddie switches to Ghana instead like he's rumoured to be close to doing. I reckon Southgate should have taken him off the back of last season's performances.

I was thinking similar watching the bits of the match I stayed awake from. He's much more confident and aggressive now. Looking forward to him getting a real chance to make his mark this season.

We are actually in more need of a RB than a CM once Zinchenko signs.

Definitely more a CM for me.

Tierney will mostly be injured which moves Zinchenko to LB, so currently our midfield will still look the same as last season.

Still wouldn't mind AMN as a backup RB for Tomiyasu if there are no decent offers for him and we want to spend all the money on a CM, but Arteta probably won't entertain it.

Is 70 pounds supposed to be especially expensive? Been 90 Euros here for ages.

Will get a fake one from flobs cousin in Dakar too.
