Saliba got a lot of love, the crowd absolutely love him because he's so obviously so good.

Sevilla's attempts at trying to handle our press was even worse than Chelsea. We press like animals!

I watched him like a hawk on and off the ball, and I couldn't find fault. I like Gabriel, but there was a gulf, especially in their reading of how the play would develop.

Whar incredible options we have though. I thought White had a very good second half at right back too, which is very encouraging and gives us great tactical flexibility.

Gabriel Jesus is incredible at that isn't he. Not just his intensity but even timing. With him, Martinelli and Saka we have one the most aggressive forward line in the League.

Pressing was insane. Not sure we can keep that up all season. It is one of those thing though that the front players really need to lead by example. It's almost infectious.. Jesus is brilliant at it.

I hope Martinelli doesn't have that LWF position handed to him. A lot to improve on.

Fun game. Probably could’ve scored a few more before the scoreline would have flattered us. Thought we deserved another couple of goals.

Saliba with another faultless performance. Really liking the look of our backline at the moment. Lots to like about what we’re working with back there for now.

Midfield dominant. Xhaka and Partey with really strong performances. Odegaard on the peripheral a bit, and could’ve been a bit more incisive when he was on it.

Good performances across the front three. 5 goals from them and a couple of assists but i don’t think any of them were particularly exceptional. Plenty of missed opportunities and rushed chances. Lots of room to improve!

Looking good going into the season.

This was fun indeed.

What struck me was how connected our players were to theirs when pressing, putting ourselves into position to nick the ball away and win it back. Big improvement from last season, when we were much looser and teams could bypass our pressing with a couple of decent passes.

Still some shaky moments defensively, but hopefully nothing that can't be fixed with improved match sharpness.

Jesus looks unreal in front of the goal at the moment. Gets to every loose ball first, anticipates everything.

Excited to see how these good pre-season performances can translate into our early PL results. It seems like eternity since we last started a season well.

We should be aiming for 5/5 wins to start the season.

Front four looked so fluid and on it, offensively as well as defensively. Makes such a difference having a mobile and switched on CF. Jesus has been outstanding preseason, I hope he can keep it up!

Defensively generally I think we still need to be more compact but the team looks on another level compared to last season.

we still seem to be focusing on getting a winger next

Hopefully they change the Emirates Cup back to the 4-team league format, with goals counting for points. One single match is crap.

I've noticed a definite change in the structure of our pressing game. Yesterday I could see Ødegaard and especially Xhaka waving the fullback forward to press whenever we squeezed them to one side. White/Zinchenko would push right up high and Saka/Martinelli would then push up onto the CB. It looks very much like Liverpool when they swarm you at Anfield. And it seemed to have a similar effect on Sevilla (and Chelsea).

Have to say our pre-season has been spot on. We look extremely fit and sharp. Hopefully this means we'll hit the new season running.

The last time we won all preseason games was 15-16. That year our first away game was also against Palace which we won.

Also the last time we challenged for title and finish top 4.
