Qwiss True but they also didn’t have goals from midfield like Ødegaard for us. For me having these goals shared about indicates we have a very good and functional system. I doubt they even had anyone putting up Xhaka’s numbers from midfield this season! Going forward Liverpool have Salah, Jota, Nunez, Diaz & Gakpo so they’ll share the goals around better.
flobaba True but I think Eddie has done well for us this year. Problem is there aren’t that many options that stand out for me so I’d rather we concentrate elsewhere.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Ferguson is the one from that list we should be watching very closely. He defo won’t move this summer though.
goon Exactly, relying on xG to make it out like we’ve over performed is nonsense imo, top teams will generally over perform that stat. Also those guys have got the taste of goals this season and will only improve going forward imo. They’re young and hungry so I can only see them getting better and more clinical.
