Don Pacifico I'm not too worried about that to be honest. I may be being optimistic, but whilst it's inevitably going to take some time to get him to full match sharpness, I feel encouraged that Arsenal are only going to bring him back when they feel he's ready to go. In other words, I can see stamina perhaps being an issue initially, but not his performances.

I'm also hoping is impending return will be a motivator for Tross and Eddie to keep it up and make it a tough decision for Arteta.

Don Pacifico I think he'll recover to a level where his contribution will be very helpful, but I'm very happy we've got Trossard in the mix with some similar attributes, to take the pressure off Jesus being ninety minutes match fit and sharp from day one.

Nketiah, Trossard, Smith Rowe and Jesus on the mend, as well as the usual suspects ... it feels like a posse at the moment. They all seem to be motivated and competing.

This guy is a different level. The dynamism he brings to the team unlocks so much. I’m always so amazed at the difference between good players and elite players. The gap in strength, speed, skill.

So true... Great having him back. He needs to try to improve on his finishing obviously, etc... but its crazy that he is coming on in a side full of top top footballers but you can instantly notice that his technique and creativity in on another level. Super excited to see his impact on the team.

I can definitely see a few 'y'all must have forgot who the fuck I am' type of performances coming up. his baseline hunger is already impressive, but now he's coming back into this team ravenous after an injury and a disappointing world cup.

And, importantly, it does look as though Arsenal have managed his rehab pretty well and not rushed him back before he was ready to go. Stands us in good stead for the rest of the season.

RocktheCasbah signing Trossard was absolutely crucial for that too. You get the feeling in years gone by we'd have tried to muddle through because Jesus was set to come back, then he'd have started last week and had a recurrence.

RocktheCasbah Good thing Eddie stepped up & the Trossard signing has got us through this period.

Really glad he will get some minutes before the international break, next 2-3 or so weeks is just about getting him up to speed again fitness wise.

Getting Jesus back is a massive boost going into the run in. As Fergie would say we are entering squeaky bum time.

Qwiss Exactly. That's why I was quite confident that when Jesus returned, he wouldn't need too much time to get up to speed. We've taken our time with him and built him back properly. Without Trossard, it probably doesn't happen.
