JazzG I do find it amusing the flack he gets from the same people who still make excuses for Gyokeres.
Gyökeres has had about 3 times the minutes Jesus has for 2.5 times the output.
One thing I would say is that if you look at when each has scored his goals ignoring game state, Jesus has only 1 goal that changed the outcome of a match (pick 1 of his 2 from the irrelevant tie away to Inter in January). Gyökeres has only 2 (Everton in the league and Chelsea semi-final first leg in the Carabao).
Eze has 3, and Gabriel has 2.
Not that interesting without a broader landscape. But I think it'd be worth comparing player end product in terms of equaliser GA, go-ahead GA, result-securing GA and then the players whose end product gets racked up in thrashings.
Jesus is not starting many or any matches, and is not settling matches either.
