I’m a Trossard believer but it’s hard to argue that Fabio shouldn’t be getting the minutes based off his output
Havertz needed to take that presentable chance instead of fucking it up. Given form it's impossible to argue with dropping him for Vieira if we did, now.
Vieira hasn't played a stray pass this season. 100% pass competition. I know he isn't playing that many minutes but its still impressive.
End product machine.
Now get the middle product to a consistent level.
TAA is still u23? Didn't realise that
Clrnc He'll be 25 in a month, so I'm not sure how much stock to put in that graph really. Maybe it's based on a couple of years back when Vieira was at Sporting?
"Top 5 leagues" would be a bit weird then … Portugal over Ligue 1, surely a close call at best?
Burnwinter Ligue 1 is the 6th European league behind Erdivise but ahead of Portugal.
Not sure, didn't notice that. Ødegaard and Guendouzi jump out as two who are both over 23 also, so it all seems off.
So, at the latest it's from 21/22.
Qwiss I looked and Portugal only overtook France in those rankings, like, last season? Maybe this means the chart must be from summer 22-23 when we signed Vieira ... 🤷♂️
Burnwinter Like I said above, at the very least from earlier than June 2022. 😆
QuincyAbeyie But also ... later than June 2022? ... 🙃
I need to look this up properly.
Seems like its bullshit.
Those are old numbers from Vieira’s time in Portugal. They look legit. And based on what we’ve seen here, he will likely replicate similar numbers for us. But for now he is likely an Odegaard replacement or a broken state player.
This guy has gone up a level. Seems much more confident. Couple of times yesterday I thought he was Odegaard
Pinning my hopes on him coming back a matured and more refined player.
He certainly has the ability to open up defences
lorddulaarsenal oh, nowwww he's back in training #fairweatherfootballer
lorddulaarsenal Eh? He's coming back from an injury, not a successful loan. You're gonna be disappointed.
Who?
Coombs Patrick Vieira. He's gonna bring back the leadership and physicality we lack in midfield.
