I watched a replay of the game and I have to admit he was a game changer. I never saw it in him up to this point, I'll give him credit this time. ESR must be the laziest guy in training to barely get any minutes.....
He's heard y'all talkin' shit.
DiabyKungFu good on him for improving in his shitness tbf.
Now has 2 goals and 8 assists in roughly 1450 minutes of football for us (roughly 16 matches). Playing with authority and intensity so far this season; very promising.
His final ball is pretty outrageous.. Need to get this kid ready to play 90 min.. said it before, is a game changer.
That's the pass Martinelli should have done against Liverpool right at the death to get us the win back in April. If only.
Technically, there's no question that Vieira is elite. What a wonderful left foot he has. If only he was a bit quicker and stronger.
Segway indeed he's superb when he has the ball under control. It's his first touch that's often iffy, which is a big part of being "technical".
I thought he wasn't great apart from the pass but he's done enough to deserve a start after the break.
Qwiss who do we bench? Where do you guys see him play?
Players with great technique usually have either a very good pass, a very good cross or a very good shot. Very good players have two out of three (Özil). Very few have all three (De Bruyne). Vieira is one of those. If he can match the competition physically he will be an extremely productive and dangerous player.
Gurgen Yeah good call.
A player with his left foot quality will always be useful. Last season he came on and kept misplacing or overhitting crosses but this season everything clicks for him
HomeSteak that's easy. Havertz.
HomeSteak
Come on mate, this is like the easiest question of the year 🤣
That Charity Shield pen looks like a game changer for him.
Definitely centrally for me... the 8 or Ode's role ( not that I would drop him).
His base level has improved drastically. Touch is a lot more consistent. If he can continue to improve, we will have some player on our hands
Been highly critical of him but there is definitely 'something' about him that suggests to me he could very well end up being a special player. Whether he will, who knows but he's doing good so far this season.
His time has come.
Looks ripe.
Can unlock tight defences. We need his long range shooting ability with Xhaka gone too
Needs to lose the goatee. It sticks ten years on him.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert gives him a Ed Norton look, just need him to turn into the incredible hulk!
Not fully convinced yet. Has come on during beneficial circumstances, but he is far better than Havertz.
