Sadly at this point it doesn’t even matter if he could be good enough one day, with our ambitions I can’t see him getting the game time to develop.

I think we should have given him more game time when we were really on it.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert One of our only signings that was our first choice and we had nobody to fight with. All our other signings were backup options after the first choice didn't materialise. Makes you think really.

I want to wait to next season to judge him. This is a guy wyhout preseason in a yacht more physical league. I remember when Odegaard first came, he had criticisms of physicality. He’s now outrunning and it hustling everybody.

He’s disappointed big time this season, but w the talent is clearly there. He’s contributed much more than say Nelson for example.

Gazza's right, he will barely feature for us next season, maybe in the domestic cups. You could hardly say he was showing signs.

His season so far doesn't reflect his talent. His confidence has been shot for a long time now. Whether it all started with the physicality of the league, I don't know. It's definitely a contextual factor, and an obvious we saw coming. A loan may not be a bad move, but I think he's worth developing for a season.

He is shit and should be sold immediately in the summer. Not cut out for Prem football, mentally or physically. Arteta is cut throat but let’s see if he’s cut throat with his own mistakes. He was with Willian to be fair.

Clrnc not disputing Willian wanting to leave, I was asking what gave you the idea that Arteta wanted him to stay? I think it was one of those that was clear for all parties that it wasn't going to work.

goon I mean Arteta himself during March said Willian will be better the next season so reading between the lines that Willian himself terminated his contract its pretty obvious it was not Arteta who cut loss like what Sicario suggested.

Anyway back to the topic I'm still not ready to give Vieira up. I don't think he needs a loan, he needs a full pre season with us

I can see why Arteta likes him. Quick feet and technically very good. However, he struggles to be effective on the pitch. He needs playing time..not sure he'll get sufficient here.
